Lightbulb Labs offers interactive, experiential learning programs. Our workshops and courses primarily draw on experience in improvisational comedy, collaborative creative experience, and research in cognitive science and organizational development.
Our curricula include communication, collaboration, team work, leadership, improving creativity, and more. Our team members have conducted workshops for major corporations clients as well as small businesses. With a mix of directly applicable lessons and analogous concepts, our activities allow participants to form their own conclusions. What's more: it's fun.

Lightbulb Labs was started by Josh Rachford, a trainer, writer, and improvisational actor at Boom Chicago in Amsterdam. He holds a B.A. in Cognitive Science from the University of Virginia and his resume includes Tumblr, the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Gawker, and Wanelo. He was an actor, producer, and director with the Story Pirates, which included teaching creative writing workshops for elementary school students and professional development for educators.
